About the studio
Grdflow is a one-person design and engineering practice. The studio takes on a small number of projects each year — websites, workflow systems, and one product currently in development. Everything is designed and built by hand, end to end.
Discovery should fit in a phone call. Design should fit in a sketch. The thing you actually use is the only deliverable that matters.
No agency middle layer. No three handoffs between strategy, design, and dev. The person who scopes is the person who ships.
The best tools disappear behind the work you're doing. Everything I make is judged by whether it makes Tuesday morning easier.
The studio is new. The work behind it isn't.
A small companion app for executive function — now live on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Websites and workflow automation for small teams. Quiet builds.
Designing and engineering as a hobby first, then a habit, then a job. Self-taught, then formally, then back to building things alone.
Jayden runs the studio. Based in Canada, designs and builds everything that goes out the door.
Now shipping Focus Pane on the App Store, a tool for people whose brains need more structure than the average to-do app provides.
Outside the studio, working toward a commercial pilot licence — which is either a contradiction or makes perfect sense, depending on how you look at it. Grew up in Hong Kong. Based in Canada now.
Between client work, a few small things get built just to keep the muscles loose. They live at their own URLs so they don't crowd the work.
A topographic field that breathes under the cursor. Three.js shader terrain, wave-packet physics, anchor superposition. Click for a pulse, hold A to drop a node, hit Space to detonate.
One short call. Plain words. Real estimate within 24 hours.
